Harvey Boatright, Flute
has been a member of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra
since 1960. Mr. Boatright holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees from the
New England Conservatory of Music and has played in the Colorado Springs
Symphony, the Denver Symphony and the Seventh Army Orchestra in Stuttgart,
Germany. He toured Germany, France, Luxembourg, Holland and Greece as flutist in
a chamber ensemble. Mr. Boatright has been an active chamber musician in the
metroplex performing with the Dallas Bach Society, Walden Chamber Music Society
and the Fort Worth Chamber Music Society. He has been a member of Voices of
Change since its inception in 1974. Mr. Boatright is an active private teacher
of flute and the Alexander Technique.
