Volunteers Support Us

Voices of Change is funded and run by volunteers. Our legal obligation is to have an office in the City of Dallas and one part-time employee. We are deeply appreciative to Eileen McKee for her devoted service as the General Manager we employ in our office.

Board meetings are usually the second Monday of the month at 7:00 P.M. We invite all those interested to sit in on a Board meeting. New ideas and assistance help us to fullfill our mission in offering the best and the newest music.

There are several ways you can join our team and help us out:

Join the Board — as a Board Member or as an Advisory Board Member. You'll find us an optimistic, practical and passionate group.

Assist our staff — Eileen can always use extra hands, typists, eyes, couriers and researchers.

Host Artists — Our visiting composers and musicians are most grateful for rides to and from the airport, lunch or dinner companionship and rides to and from their hotel, master classes for university students, and to the concerts themselves.

Special Events — Voices of Change is smaller than most classical music organizations. That makes us a very approachable community. We are known for our receptions in homes where we bring hors d'oeuvres and beverages for our guests. Any small or large offer to participate in any of our events makes a big difference.

Fund Raising — Our audience is a rare group of listeners and our ticket prices are a small fraction of the funds needed to create concerts. So, we depend on donations to keep this rare organization performing and growing. Any help or suggestions are most welcome and dearly needed.

Marketing — How many people do you know who have heard of Voices of Change? We know how to create extraordinarily fine art with the finest composers and musicians but we need you to spread the word. Our budget is spent on performances, not marketing. Most of our audience members find us through word-of-mouth. Any ideas you have for giving your friends and community a connection with Voices of Change are a true gift.
